  • 1 package Birrittellas Traditional Pizza Dough
  • 1/2 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/2 Taco Seasoning Packet
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 cup Shredded Lettuce
  • 1 cup Shredded Mexican Cheese
  • 1/2 Red Onion, Diced
  • 1/2 cup Cherry Tomatoes, Diced
  • 1/2 cup Salsa
  • 14 oz Vegetable Oil
  • Sour Cream to Serve


  • In a medium sauté pan, cook your ground beef. Once brown, add your taco seasoning and water. Simmer on low for 15 mins.
  • Cut your dough into 4 even sections. Pressing from the inside out, create round disk shaped doughs.
  • Add your oil to a large pot. Heat until temperature is 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Add your doughs 1 at a time. Fry for 15 mins flipping every so often. They should become a golden brown.
  • Remove and add to a plate lined with paper towel.
  • Remove ground beef from heat.
  • To your fried dough, top with ground beef, cheese, tomatoes, red onion, shredded lettuce, salsa and sour cream if desired. Repeat with the rest.
