Ingredients
- 1 package Birrittellas Whole Wheat Dough
- 2 tbsp Baking Soda
- 2 cups Warm Water
- 2 tbsp Butter (Melted)
- 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
- 1 tsp Garlic Salt
- 1 tsp Parsley Flakes
- 1 tsp Basil Flakes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450 degrees.
- Roll out your dough into a 12”-14” log (use flour to help roll).
- Cut into 5-6 pieces.
- Roll out each piece into long strips. Let rest for 2 mins, then go back and stretch until about double the size.
- Make a “U” shape then cross the two ends. Press the ends down into the dough creating your pretzel. Repeat with each and set aside.
- Mix together your warm water and baking soda.
- Using a mesh strainer, drop 1 pretzel at a time in the water and let it seep for 10-20 seconds.
- Place each pretzel onto your baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush each with your melted butter.
- Mix together your seasoning ingredients.
- Sprinkle seasoning onto each pretzel (leave some for when they’re done).
- Bake for 12-15 mins. Then broil on high for an additional 2 mins.
- Sprinkle with remaining seasoning.
- Remove from the oven and serve warm.
